Facebook Timeline comes to iOS app!
Posted by Ben Winn in Internet on December 19th, 2011

Hey there,

If you haven’t already heard the news about Facebook’s infamous “Timeline” coming finally to the iOS “frontend” app then carry on reading, now Facebook announced “Timeline” awhile ago back in September at their convention “F8″. Which showcased this feature and said  it would become widely available to all Facebook users world-wide at some point later in the year, though all Facebook Developers got their hands on the “Timeline” before the general public got it – but anyone could do this if they wanted the “Timeline” early which spread around the web like anything!

So anyway’s moving onto Facebook’s update on their iOS app version 4.1 which is now available to download in the App Store!

This update gives:

Access to Mobile Timeline on iPhone (if you already have a timeline). iPad support coming soon.
Get your own timeline here: fb.me/tml
Access to friend lists, subscribers and subscriptions
Faster, better performance
Photos are easier to view, upload and comment on

Just so you know the news feed and everything else apart from your profile will now show the Timeline and on everyone else’s Timeline (if they have a timeline).

So to wrap up this article, check the pictures below:

So here’s what our old profiles used to look like on the iPhone:

Now we wait patiently for the Timeline to show it’s face!

Ah, it shows itself finally!

So there we have it the timeline is now available to all iOS users – well except those iPad users which will get it very soon no doubt (hold in there guys!).

If you have any thoughts on this then leave you’re comments below!!
