So here we have the brand new InsanelyTech V7 that I’ve been working on for the past days and weeks, not to mention some part of it’s development was stressful (mainly the side-by-side column news feed) but the rest was so fun to do because of the elegance of the design blew my mind away! Anyway’s I’m not here to tell how fun it was to make or how long it took me, I’m here to tell you what this version has to offer – so read on below:
- A much cleaner less cluttered layout – obvious!
- The Twitter Stream returns once again but in a neater way than before it was used on the previous version (v6).
- A new search system has been put in place, and the search results page has been cleaned up to look more elegant.
- Instead of the boring column-by-column (underneath each other), you now have a side-by-side column layout to make it user-friendly!
- The featured post system has returned again! So be sure to check out the featured news like this article.
- The news article page has been cleaned up to have separate columns for each thing such as, Article, About The Author, Share The Article and Comments – not only that but you will now see underneath the title Published & Comment count (this was in the previous version but has been made cleaner).
- On the sidebar you will notice Recent Posts & Popular Posts, these haven’t been implemented yet but when they do it will shine like a beauty!
Above is just half of what V7 has to offer, so keep your eyes pealed for further features to appear as the scale is never ending – so from me (Ben Winn) I hope you enjoy the new design as much as I have enjoyed working on it!
Lastly, if you like/love this website then do the decent thing and spread the word to your friends & family (this isn’t required but would be much appreciated!)
